The packed theatre went up in cheers at the Cinemasports Mill Valley Film Festival screening. In it's 29th year, The Mill Valley Film Festival is consistently named one of the top 10 film festivals of North America by filmmakers. A vocal festival crowd filled the theatre with support for local filmmakers tasked with making a movie in 10 hours. Starting their movies at 9AM underneath the beautiful redwood trees of Old Mill Park in downtown Mill Valley, a unique mix of adult and youth teams participated in Cinemasports MVFF. Costumed actors streaked around the trails and streams filming their creations for the 8PM screening. While most teams submitted their movies by the screening start, technical problems inevitably plague some teams. Due to audio problems, two teams brought actors to the stage to narrate their silent movies Rocky Horror style. Still other teams found nothing on their tape when the projector started. Team Confidential, a young group of aspiring filmmakers, turned in a movie called "Hawaii". They came to stage to explain their technical problems to the crowd. "I don't know what happened," said 11-year old editor Grant Singer. "When we got here there was nothing on the tape" When someone from the crowd asked what the movie was about, a young team member gave the crowd some tempting clues, "...Someone gets murdered....then they go to hawaii" The ingredients:
