Cinemasports German Youth Success
Each year, about 100 young German filmmakers are invited to a secluded campus outside Wiesbaden, Germany to take part in a weekend of workshops and screenings called the Werkstatt für Junge Filmer. This year, Cinemasports was invited to organize an event for the workshop participants and surrounding communities. Invited filmmakers stay in a dorm surrounded by peaceful woodland hills. With meals provided, participants live and breath film for a few days. The mild spring weather made for a perfect Cinemasports event with many teams shooting outdoors. The Cinemasports screening was one of the most popular of the weekend with the entire crowd participating in a cheer for Cinemasports. One team accompanied their movie with live music from the grand piano in the screening room. The ingredients: Someone disappears, a stone, and water drops. |
