...The Hinojosas of San Jose have made dozens of films together. A family of movie buffs, Joel, 42, writes and directs; his wife, Karen, and daughter, Kristen, make the costumes; and his teenage sons Joel Hikaru and Alexander shoot and edit.
"It's fantastic," says Hinojosa, a sales manager. "Instead of going to a ballgame we go see a film and take it apart on the way home. So why not make our own?"...
